Janine Harouni is a UK based Lebanese-American comedian who's 'ready for her Netflix special’ (★★★★★ The Times). Selected as one of The Guardian's 'Ten Comedians to Watch in 2021'. Her critically acclaimed debut Edinburgh hour ‘Stand Up with Janine Harouni (Please Remain Seated)’ was nominated for the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe and recommended by the critics at The New York Times. It sold out across the UK and US before being filmed as a special for Amazon Prime UK - available to stream now.
Janine's second stand up hour 'Man'oushe' premiered at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it was nominated for Best Show, and is currently taking her on a world tour in 2024.
Janine stars in the ITV2 sitcom Buffering and can be seen as Carla in the DC Comic film The Batman (Warner Bros). She was a writer and performer for 2 seasons of ITV2's sketch series The Emily Atack Show.
